Associate Creative Director, Copy

Maybe you’re a Senior Copywriter ready to take the next step in your career. Or maybe you’re an Associate Creative Director and you feel as stale as an improperly sealed bag of three-month old chips. Whatever the situation, A&G is looking for you.

We’re currently searching high and low for a superior talent to fill the role of Associate Creative Director in our Philly office. As an ACD, you’ll be asked to lead creative output on multiple accounts with the help of our insanely talented group of creators. You can expect this position to be hands-on in a big way. You’ll craft brilliant ideas from scratch, put out fires when they ignite, and charm the pants off of clients with your presentation skills.

What we need you to do:

  • Managing multi-discipline creative projects from their birth, harboring them through the rough teenage years, and finally, when they’re mature adults, setting them free.
  • Ensure the final creative product supports the overall strategic goals set forth in the project’s beginning stages.
  • Demonstrate an ability to understand account and project management requirements including strategy, client interaction, resource allocation and timing of project deliverables, etc.
  • Provide clear direction while motivating and mentoring creative teams.
  • Stay on top of cool cutting edge things like emerging technologies and trends and stuff.
  • Address creative and technical issues that are involved with designing for various environments.
  • Demonstrate a growing ability to analyze problems, anticipate consequences, and eliminate obstacles to successfully complete projects. Basically, just use your noggin.

What we cannot live without:

  • 6 - 8 years experience in a copy/creative leadership role
  • Super baller creative portfolio showcasing a range of platform experience
  • Well-versed in communicating vision, setting creative direction, and managing concepts (and a team) from start to finish
  • A serious ass understanding of modern media and an uncanny ability and desire to adapt with the changing landscape of technology
  • Versed in creating elegant and seamless brand experiences through physical or digital means
  • Next level thinking when it comes to creative conceptualization, problem-solving, presentation, and implementation
  • Willingness to ask appropriate questions and make relevant comments while effectively communicating solutions both internally and to the client
