In Search of Copywriter with Generally Upbeat Demeanor

Words are important – but are they the most important? Well yeah, probably. That’s why we’re on the hunt for a writer who can arrange words in the most delightful ways for our roster of worthy clients. We’ll pay you to do it, and hopefully, you’ll become a better ad person at the same time. And really, that’s the important thing. To that end, you’ll be surrounded by a likeminded team of creative thinkers and doers that will expect you to deliver your best, while also insisting that you stay for one more at happy hour. Because fair’s fair.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Concept and execute campaigns across all walks of life – print, digital, outdoor, broadcast, experiential, radio, and other cool things we don’t even know about yet
  • Write and edit copy, then give it all another look just to be sure it’s compelling and, you know, good
  • Work with (and tolerate) art directors and/or designers in a collaborative manner to create and execute inspired campaigns
  • Build ideas that are both entirely out there and oddly on-strategy
  • Manage your workload, meet deadlines, and hand over creative that consistently raises the bar
  • Contribute to the culture in a memorable way

Stuff You’ve Done & Stuff You’re Good At:

  • Your portfolio is quickly filling with work that’s fun, creative and original
  • You’ve survived 2-4 years in an agency setting and still actually enjoy it
  • You’ve developed the ability to turn all sorts of odd information into copy that works hard
  • You can juggle several projects at once without a hint of handholding (which is good, because handholding makes it difficult to type)
  • You play well with others and take constructive criticism like a champ
  • You’re a natural communicator – whether it’s talking, typing or your top-notch giphy game.
  • Positivity and interpersonal skills radiate from your very epidermis like perspiration on a hot August night
  • You’re pretty sure there’s too many bullet points going on here, but you also know better than to question it
