Sr. Analyst

Allen & Gerritsen is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its growing Analytics department. As the importance of understanding and utilizing marketing data increases, so does the demand for analysts. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in managing, understanding, and generating insights from various types of data. Our ultimate goal is to help improve our client’s business with smart, data-backed thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to analyses in support of marketing initiatives encompassing a variety of channels, both on and offline
  • Design, conduct, and interpret results of in-market tests
  • Work with a cross functional team to identify opportunities for optimization of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations to improve program performance
  • Provide analytic services to both a&g’s clients and internal teams
  • Extract and clean data from online media, website analytics solutions, and other key sources (e.g. DoubleClick, Google Analytics)
  • Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management teams
  • Develop and maintain fluency in relevant interactive technologies
  • Comprehensive measurement and analysis strategies and plans
  • Strategically written insights and recommendations within weekly or monthly reports (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Development of dashboards for senior clients
  • Website behavior and customer experience analysis
  • Data consolidation and validation
  • Creating tracking tags and developing implementation parameters
  • Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Marketing
  • 2 - 4 years of professional experience in media analysis, online or direct marketing, advertising, or consulting. Agency experience is a plus
  • Inventive, intellectually curious and a creative thinker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Experience with analytics solutions including ad-serving platforms, search management technologies, web analytics solutions and social media analysis
  • Experience with one or more statistical analysis tools a plus (e.g. SAS, SPSS, Stata)
  • Experience with one or more relational database management systems (RDMS) a plus (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server)
